IS LAW AND ORDER BEING ABOLISHED BEFORE OUR EYES?
 
With advanced resources, flexible tactics, and superior man-power, ICI’s offensive is exceptional in decimating the Vulkanoids, but there is a terrible price to pay for bystanders in the perimeters of an operation, or anywhere in the way of one of the Installation’s ATVs. 
         The ICI ATVs, which bare little to no resemblance to the far tinier commercial ATVs, are thoroughly-armed, relentless, ruthless machines the organization uses against the animals.  Because there is nowhere near the amount of these ATVs as there were the now-obsolete military vehicles, the ICI machines must go off-road and make new routes to the operation site.  These faster routes can end up being messily carved through private and public properties, sometimes even through homes.  Mostly, these incidences happen outside of the cities, where people are most vulnerable.
             So now many are wondering what has happened to Law Enforcement these days.  Well, unless you are in a decent-sized community, your local policeman is likely a volunteer receiving donations from the townspeople, and their job is to focus on robberies, violent offenders, and evacuations when necessary, no longer taking heed to victimless crimes.  Because of this state of dwindling or dead finances, Law Enforcement officers are not very abundant.  Where does this leave the civilians?  That depends on the neighborhood you find yourself going into. 
        For the most part, the simple living will change little, with the exception of enjoying some luxuries which were formerly prohibited.  Others have taken the opportunity to form their own military factions.  The New American Revolutionary Guard is the largest of these factions, and is also the strictest, drafting in every able-bodied citizen ages 10 and up.  Some argue that the New American Revolutionary Guard acts more like a conquering empire than it does any kind of establishment for democracy.  The founder and authority figure for the front is Nathaniel Maxico, the Texan musician who was the guitarist and vocals for the band that carries his last name.  We were unable to get an interview with Nathaniel, but his spokesperson does confirm that the gathering is amassing on the West Coast of the United States and plans to move it further inland.
     So seeing these radical changes throughout the country, the destabilization, and the lacking of maintainable authority, one cannot help but assert that Law and Order may soon become a thing only found in the pockets of history and the fictional tales of the entertainment industry.
