I've noticed that the Gut Circus comic is pioneering a different style when it comes to drawing. The usual comic style would be plain black print. But this entity has proven that colorful comic works really well too! All we need to do is to believe that everything will work according to our favor. Besides, it's giving me a different view about comics. It is evolving and we should be thankful that this industry is still up to date!

Although I've always loved black and white manga, I wanted to experiment with the zany aspects by using color with them. It's not very common to see that approach, which is why I wanted to tackle it; it's an alien concept in itself. It's somewhat difficult with certain actions, but when dealing with extraordinarily wacky characters, anything is possible. Not only this, the storytelling element is one I wanted to try and combine the adventuring mindset of a child with the grimmer themes of the vulgar adult world. I wanted to take those things and squish them together thoroughly until they make a molding clay of "anything goes", maybe one so absurd to be able go "anywhere else" away from boxed-in expressions, no pun intended.
